1901 ruby glass scent perfume bottle, silver top

A petite kite panel cut, very dark ruby glass scent bottle, the base embellished with an eight point star. The bottle has a foliate embossed sterling silver hinged top, silver collar, and glass stopper. Condition: light surface age and use wear; nothing further found; hinge firm, good snap closure. Silver hallmarked for Birmingham 1901, rubbed maker's mark 'CM' for Charley May. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 4cm/1.5in, diameter 2.5cm/1in.
