An elegant citrine yellow overlay crystal wine glass on a hollow facet knop stem and conical twenty four point star cut base. The bowl is deep cut to clear with diamonds, half lenses and chevrons. Condition: light surface wear to the under-base; minor age and use wear; one or two tiny natural bubbles in the glass; nothing further found. Circa 1920s, designed by Siegfried Haertal for Josephinenhütte Schreiberhau. Literature 'Josephinenhütte Band 2', Stefania Zelasko, Glasmuseum Passau 2009, page 300. Item measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 19cm/7.5in, rim diameter 7.5cm/3in.
