A splendid malachite glass faceted Deco dressing table bottle and conforming stopper relief moulded and acid finished. The stopper shows a bird amongst leaves, the bottle features a female face with flower adorned swirling hair, surrounded by four love bird panels. Condition: stand wear to the under-base; light age and use wear; nothing further found. Circa 1930s, unmarked but definitely by Rudolf Hlousek Eisenbrod, Czechoslovakia. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 20.5cm/8.25in, width 11cm/4.5in.
