A stylish blue overlay crystal decanter and glasses set, the decanter with a tapered eight sided panel cut stopper and ten sided facet cut sloped body, the tapered glasses with ten facet cut sides, both are cut to clear in a series of ribbed bands. Condition: three glasses a slightly lighter shade of blue; light age and use wear; nothing further found; stopper and decanter neck stylus marked "49". Muscadet design from the 1930s, this set probably 1950s-60s. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Decanter height 22.5cm/9in, base diameter 14.5cm/5.75in, glasses height 7cm/2.75in.
