A handsome tazza with a deep bowl on a pedestal stem and lightly conical base. The bowl has a dark pink band under a masterfully decorated etched and gilded rim featuring four flower vases, scrollwork and fine beading over a textured ground, the tazza is further embellished with gilt banding. Condition: very light rubbing to the gilt; light surface age and use wear; nothing further found. Circa 1920s, unmarked, probably St. Louis, France. Dimensions based on centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 11cm/4.25in, diameter 24cm/9.5in.
