A pleasing tapered oval bowl in graduated amethyst to clear, the inner section lightly ribbed. The bowl is hand decorated with a beaded gilt band and delicate flower head and leaf sprays to both sides. Condition: stand wear to the under-base; some light surface marking; light rubbing to the gilt; nothing further found. Circa 1910-20; somewhat rubbed acid mark "Moser Karlsbad". Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 6.3cm/2.5in, width 19cm/7.5in, depth 8.5cm/3.5in.
