NS. A handsome blue glass carafe or possibly decanter, with a three way pull-down rim, long neck and bulbous, lightly ribbed ovoid body. Condition: stand wear to the under-base; light surface wear; nothing further found; there is no evidence around the inside of neck that indicates a stopper was present, however one is included with this item as a courtesy (see images). Circa 1900, possibly earlier, Stourbridge. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height not including stopper 21.5cm/8.5in, width 12.5cm/5in.
