An excellent engraved glass goblet on a facet cut stem and base, masterfully decorated in the round with a forest scene featuring a trotting horse and a jumping horse. Condition: stand wear to the under-base; minor surface age and use wear; one or two natural small bubbles in the glass; nothing further found; indented polished pontil. Circa 1900, unmarked but almost certainly Johann F. Hoffmann for Moser Karlsbad. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 14.5cm/5.75in, rim diameter 7.5cm/3in.
