An elegant green crystal wine glass on an eight sided notch cut stem, cross cut knop, and stepped conical base, the latter embellished with a thirty two point star. The bowl is acid etched and in-filled with delicate gilt patterning, the rim and base are decorated with gilt bands. Condition: very light rubbing to the gilt; minor age and use wear; nothing further found. Circa 1910-20, unmarked but almost certainly St. Louis, France, shape identical to the Massenet pattern. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 17cm/6.5in, rim diameter 7cm/2.75in. Second identical glass also available.
