An excellent and heavy crystal paperweight with four clear framed windows on a sixteen point hobstar base. The weight is cut to clear with crosshatch bands and blazes. Condition: stand wear to the under-base; light surface age and use wear; one or two microscopic nicks to high points; nothing further found. Circa 1920s-30s, produced by Val St. Lambert. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 6.5cm/2.75in, base diameter 9cm/3.75in, 1.02kg/2.25lb.
