NS. A fine green overlay cylindrical crystal vase with a scalloped trumpet rim, the body masterfully cut to clear with flower heads, swirling leaf fronds and palmettes over a band of lenses. The vase is mounted in a sterling silver holder with scalloped top, and two decorative rope bands. Condition: minor surface wear; nothing further found. The silver hallmarked for London 1898, maker's mark "JTH" over "JHM" for Hukin & Heath, additional stamped numbers to the under-base "14254S". Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 29cm/11.42in, rim diameter 9cm/3.54cm.
