A splendid bell shape blue overlay crystal vase on a short round foot. The vase is cut to clear with large diamonds and rim scallops, the under-base is embellished with a twenty four point star. Condition: stand wear to the under-base; some surface wear to the interior, mostly to the base, through the use of a glass or metal stem arranger; one or two bubbles in the glass; nothing further found. 1930s - 40s, unsigned but very similar to designs in the Walsh pattern book, page 195. Dimensions based on centimetres and rounded to nearest quarter inch. Height 21cm/8.25in, rim diameter 18.5cm/7.5in.
