A deep amethyst facet cut vase with a trumpet rim, waist neck, and tapered body on a knopped conical base. The vase features a broad oroplastic gilt frieze depicting Amazonian warriors. Condition: light rubbing to the gilt; light surface age and use wear; nothing further found; indented and polished pontil. Circa 1910-20, stylus signed "Made in Czecho Slovakia Moser Karlsbad". Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 21cm/8.25in, rim diameter 8.5cm/3.5in.
