A modish bucket shape light olive-brown vase with striking triple scroll handles, the body decorated with acid etched random pattern bands. Condition: mould seam line to the base area; small mould marks and bubbles; small area of natural cloudiness just below the rim; nothing further found. Circa 1930s, unmarked but definitely designed by Pierre D'Avesn for Daum. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 16cm/6.5in, rim diameter 13.5cm/5.5in, weight 1.58kg/3.5lb.
