A modish Deco citrine crystal scent bottle, with a tall acid etched iris stopper. The diamond cut shouldered and waisted form bottle sits on a spreading facet base. Condition: one or two microscopic nicks to high points; minor wear; nothing further found; stopper may at one time have had a dauber, base is polished and rounded. Circa 1930s, faint "Made in Czechoslovakia" acid etched oval mark to the under-base. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 19cm/7.5in, width 8.5cm/3.5in.
