An intriguing black, possibly obsidian, egg shape scent bottle, with a cork lined silver screw top. Condition: some surface wear to bottle and top; nothing further found; good tight lid fit. Silver hallmarked for London 1887, somewhat rubbed maker's mark "SM" for Sampson Mordan. Dimensions based on centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 3.8cm/1.5in.
