A tall hobnail and diamond cut crystal cylinder form scent bottle, with a scrollwork and floral embossed hinged silver top - the latter with vacant cartouche - silver collar, and glass stopper. Condition: one or two nicks to glass high points; light age and use wear; nothing further found; minor hinge play, good closure. Silver hallmarked for Birmingham 1897, maker's mark "MBros". Article measured in centimetres and rounded up or down to the nearest quarter inch. Height 10.5cm/4.25in, diameter 2.5cm/1in.
