An appealing miniature ovoid porcelain scent bottle, with a cork lined sterling silver screw top. The bottle features a hand embellished polychrome transfer print of a romantic couple wearing Rococo dress in an outdoor setting, the latter continues on the reverse. Condition: light age and use wear; nothing further found; good screw fit. Silver hallmarked for Birmingham 1907, maker's mark "DL" for Schindler & Co. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 3.5cm/1.5in, width 2.5cm/1in.
