An elegant facet cut ovoid and footed crystal scent bottle, with an embossed 14 carat gold quatrefoil bulbous top, gold collar, and glass stopper. Condition: light surface wear, minor interior bloom; nothing further found; some hinge play, good closure. Circa 1870, Dutch, gold hallmarked with an oak leaf. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 10.5cm/4.14in, width 3.5cm/1.38in.
