A facet cut ovoid and tapered cut crystal scent bottle, with an embossed silver dome hinged top, silver collar, and glass stopper. Condition: light surface age and use wear, minor interior bloom; nothing further found; very minor hinge play, good snap closure. Circa 1870, Dutch, silver hallmarked with a sword. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 9cm/3.50in.
