A handsome facet cut lightly tapered crystal scent bottle, with a silver hinged dome top, silver collar, and glass stopper. Condition: small knock to an edge of the silver top; light surface age and use wear; nothing further found; hinge firm, good snap closure. Circa 1870, silver hallmarked with a French boar's head mark. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 8cm/3in, width 3cm/1.25in.
