A delightful double overlay scent bottle and conforming stopper, the body cut to clear with lenses, quatrefoils, and grooves, the base is embellished with a six point star. Condition: one or two microscopic nicks to high points; one or two tiny grit flecks in the glass; light surface wear; nothing further found. Circa 1880, unmarked, almost certainly Bohemian. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 8cm/3.25in, diameter 3.5cm/1.5in.
