A good cut glass double ended emerald scent bottle, the convex eight sided kite panel body with a silver leaf and floral embossed spring catch lid at one end (for smelling salts), and a similar cork lined screw top at the other, both tops have a vacant cartouche. Condition: one or two tiny nicks to the high points; some light wear and surface marking; nothing further found; good lid fits. Circa 1890, silver not hallmarked, but tested. Dimensions based on centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height: 13cm/5.25in, width 2.5cm/1in.
