An attractive cased cobalt scent bottle, with a hinged brass top, matching collar, and glass stopper. The front and back of the bottle are cut with lenses, the sides with ovals. Condition: some light wear and surface marking; minor dimpling to the lid; nothing further found; hinge play, slightly loose but satisfactory closure. Circa 1890, dimensions based on centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 7.3cm/3in, width 3cm/1.25in.
