An attractive facet cut crystal dressing table container, the wavy edge sterling silver pull-off top finished in white guilloche, and hand enamelled with polychrome flower heads and leaf sprays. The top has a central oval silver cartouche engraved with the letters "AHB", the crystal container is embellished with a thirty two point radial star to the base. Condition: minor surface age and use wear to the top, some stand wear to the under-base of the container, minor age and use wear; nothing further found. Circa1930s, top stamped "sterling", probably American. Dimensions based on centimetres and rounded to nearest quarter inch. Diameter 10.5cm/4in, height 6.5cm/2.5in.
