A large jazz age Bakelite compact and chain in dark brown, the top decorated with a large flower head in cream, a mid-brown tassel is attached to the base. Condition: light wear to the exterior; some wear to the tassel; scratch marks around the company logo underneath the original sieve; nothing further found; hinge firm, good closure. 1930s-40s, moulded mark "Seaforth Made in England". Dimensions based on centimetres and rounded to nearest quarter inch. Diameter 10.5cm/4.25in, height 2.8cm/1.25in. Chain not included in measurements.
