A delightful heart shape sterling silver scent bottle with a cork lined screw top and suspensory chain. The front of the bottle is engraved with foliate scrollwork, the back is plain. Condition: light surface wear; nothing further found; good screw closure. Silver hallmarked for London 1899; maker's mark "SM&Co." for Sampson Mordan & Co. Dimensions based on centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Width 4.3cm/1.75in, height 5.8cm/2.5in.
