An Art Nouveau low relief tile with a stylised double flower head and leaf design in cream and light olive-grey on a burnt orange shield with portals either side and a string of pale yellow circles above, the whole on a cream and pale blue ground. Condition: tiny glaze loss top right; minor surface wear; minor glaze crazing; nothing further found. Circa 1905, grid and stripe back marked "Belca" and "Made in Belgum". Framed ready to hang. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. 14.8cm/6in square.
