An Art Nouveau intaglio tile with a stylised rose head and outline design in crimson and dark grey on a light grey ground. Condition: minor surface wear; glaze crazing; nothing further found. Circa 1905, Norddeutsche Steingutfabrik, Grohn, Germany. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. 15cm/6in square.
