A delightful polychrome two tile set, featuring a young girl in low relief outline feeding a bird. Condition: small edge nick to the bottom of the the top tile; light surface wear; nothing further found; obtained with original oak frame and not further inspected. Circa 1910, previous owner informs the set is by Rako, Nitzer und Unter-Themenauer Keramische Werke, CZ. Frame height 43cm/16.94in, width 28cm/11.03in. Second matching tile with a young boy available to make a pair.
