A low relief modelled tile in sepia brown tones, featuring the portrait of a long horn. Condition: edge nicks; light surface wear; light glaze crazing; nothing further found. Circa 1890, Sherwin & Cotton, designed by George Cartlidge, apparently portraits of his own cattle. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Tile size 15cm/6in square. Framed ready to hang. Second cattle tile available to make a pair.
