An Art Nouveau relief moulded tile with a wine coupe, grape bunch and leaf design in pale goldenrod; purple and brown on a teal ground. Condition: edge nibble top centre; some surface wear; fine glaze crazing; nothing further found. Circa 1900, marks to the reverse for SOMAG Meissen (Sächsiche Ofen-Fabrik), Germany. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Tile 15cm/6in square. Framed ready to hang.
