A polychrome tubeline tile featuring a scenic view of barges, a windmill, woodland, and cloud studded sky. Condition: small corner chip to the reverse bottom right, not visible from the front; one very tiny edge nick, minor surface wear; typical glaze crazing; nothing further found. Circa 1910, Grohner Wandplattenfabrik near Bremen, Germany. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. 15cm/6in square.
